Pearl Bertha Bernice Samsa (Larschied) was born on April 30, 1938, in Marinette, Wisconsin. On the day of her passing, Pearl was joyfully reunited with those who have gone before her. She was proceeded in death by her parents Fredrick and Ruth (Timm) Larschied, her Sisters Rosemary Johnston, Nancy Palenica, Alice Wolske, Sharon Larschied, and brother William “Bill” Larschied, sons Joseph Samsa and Bruce Samsa, and her grandsons Matthew Samsa and Jason Samsa.
During her journey on earth, she operated a dairy farm, ran a daycare, and was a loving housewife and mother. Pearl is survived by her children Mike (Sharon) Samsa, daughter‑in‑law Doreen Samsa, Mary (Vern) Peltz, Kim (Robert) Wessel, Roger Samsa, sister Phyllis McCash, brothers Fredrick (Sandy) Larschied & John Larschied, 20 Grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, along with many others who called her Grandma. Throughout her life, Pearl led her family with humor, unconditional love, and a deep devotion to Biblical truths and scripture. Her faith was the foundation of her strength, and her laughter was the heart of every gathering.
There will be a memorial service in Wisconsin, at Oconto Gospel Chapel, 251 Michigan Ave, Oconto, WI 54153 on May 23, 2026 at 11:00 am, lunch will be provided, followed by a burial at Brookside Cemetery.
