With deep sorrow, we share that our wonderful father, Patrick James Pazdera, passed away suddenly on November 27, 2025.

Born on February 15, 1940, in Marinette, WI, Pat grew up in Menekaunee surrounded by his ten brothers and sisters and a neighborhood full of lifelong friends. In high school, he was a remarkable athlete and worked at Poquette’s Grocery Store delivering groceries.

After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Following his distinguished military service, he returned to his roots in Menekaunee.  He met the love of his life, Diana Lynn Olsen, and they married in 1965.

Pat went on to build a 30-plus-year career at Ansul, working as an exemplary maintenance mechanic. After retiring from Ansul, he continued to stay active by working his favorite job, jack of all trades, at the Dome Lanes.

Affectionately known as “Project Pat,” he was a gifted carpenter whose hands could build and fix anything.  Working outdoors, sipping a cold beer, listening to classic country and Elvis, and singing the music he loved were some of his happiest moments.

Dad cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his beloved “girls” and their significant others—whom he considered bonus sons: Kari Kowalski and Mark Fuchs, Ryan and Michele Schoen, and Jennifer and Doug Fredrickson. He adored his grandchildren—Ryan, Brett (Jen), Alex (Kennedy), Ethan, Josie, and Drew—who will forever carry his love, laughter, and wisdom.

He also leaves behind his loving sisters: Mary, Barbara, his twin Patsy, Toni, Veronica (Art), and Jeanie; along with his sisters-in-law, Nancy and Judy, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Pat is preceded in death by his wife, Lynn; his parents, Josephine and Otto; and his brothers, Billy, Bebo, Jack, and Tommy.

Even as Parkinson’s slowly challenged him, his love, kindness, determination, and unwavering courage and strength never faded.  He was blessed with many loving caretakers at Rennes East—especially his devoted daughter, Kari, along with Kelly Schewe, Jackie, Amie, Patty, Mike, Ashley, and countless others who cared for him with compassion and grace.  We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to his dear friend, Mike Murphy, whose faithful visits brought comfort and companionship during Dad’s time at Rennes.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, gentle humor, hearty laugh, hardworking hands, warm voice, and the deep love he shared with his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A private celebration of his life will be held in Spring.

Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home is assisting the family.
