Nancy J. Mikolajczak, 82, of Peshtigo, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 8, 2026. She was born November 28, 1943 in Menominee, the daughter of Franklin F. “Tut” Edwin and Marion (Belanger) Edwin. She spent her early life in Marinette and attended St. Joseph School. Nancy moved to Milwaukee where she met Richard Mikolajczak. She and Dick were married on June 25, 1966. They eventually moved to Appleton where their two sons were born. Nancy worked for many years at Copp’s Store in Appleton and after retirement relocated to the Marinette area.
Nancy is survived by her two sons, Kevin of Peshtigo and Corey (Amy) of Little Chute, WI; grandchildren, CC, Christian, Nathan and Elijah; her sisters, Marion Figlinski, Patti Edwin and Mary Jane (Dave) Bohan; a brother, Steve Edwin; a sister-in-law, Carol Edwin; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; a brother, Fred Edwin; a brother-in-law, Roger Figlinski; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Edwin.
A private graveside service is planned for the spring along with a celebration of her life.
