Mary Jane Lambrecht passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on June 22, 1935, in Marinette to Joseph and Myrtle (Schutes) Beauclaire. Mary married Mike Lambrecht on August 10, 1968, at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo.

Mary grew up in Peshtigo and later lived in Marinette after getting married. She was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo, where her faith remained a guiding presence throughout her life.

Mary graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1953 and went on to earn her teaching degree from UW–Oshkosh in 1957, later completing a graduate degree in elementary guidance counseling at Northern Michigan University.

Mary served the Marinette School District for 34 years, first as a fourth-grade teacher at Menekaunee Elementary and later as guidance counselor for the district’s grade schools. She often ran into former students who remembered her for the “Dusso the Dolphin” stories she used to teach lessons as a counselor.

Mary was very sociable and active and had a large circle of friends. Mary and her family shared many great experiences with their close friends Dick and Jeannie McDougal and their family. There were ski trips, spring breaks in Daytona Beach, Friday night fish fries at Little River or the Elks, snowmobile adventures, travels to Europe, and shopping trips—oh, did Mary love to shop! She also had a special fondness for returning things, particularly after visits to Younkers in Marinette. After retirement, Mary and Mike continued their adventures with Dick and Jeannie, escaping Wisconsin winters and spending many enjoyable seasons in Fort Myers, Florida.

Mary was extremely proud to be the grandmother of Brady and Nora, who brought immense joy to her life. She cherished every moment spent with them. Brady and Nora adored their grandma and will forever treasure the memories they made with her.

Mary lived a full and meaningful life and will be missed immensely.

Survivors include her son, David (Robyn), and her grandchildren, Brady and Nora. She is also survived by nieces Pam (Dale) Ranthum, Laura (David) Cunningham, and Marian (John) Hoskins; nephews Marc (Leone) Beauclaire and Joe (Lisa) Beauclaire; and sister-in-law Shirley Beauclaire. She is further survived by great-nieces and nephews Krysta, Joe (Carrie), and Jon Ranthum, and Dominic, Alexa, Remy, Tyler, Mason, and Dax Beauclaire.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; brother, Joe Beauclaire; brother-in-law, Arnold Lambrecht; and sister-in-law, Sara Lambrecht.

Visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. The Rev. Luke Myslik will officiate.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the wonderful staff at The Cottages for the exceptional care they provided over the past two years.

Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home is assisting the family.
