Marlea Cloutier

Marlea (Melka) Cloutier, 72, of Sturgeon Bay, joined her husband Daniel Cloutier, brother Wayne Melka, parents Richard and Arlene Melka, grandparents and other family members on May 27th, 2026 in heavenly life.

Marlea was born in Marinette to Richard and Arlene Melka on August 21, 1953. She was a graduate of Peshtigo High School in 1971. She went on to earn a degree as a cosmetologist, worked under her father performing perk tests for his plumbing business then earned a degree as a paralegal. She also worked as a CNA during her high school years and in her later years worked for White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay. She worked on their décor and sewing bedding and other items to make it inviting and did many other positions over the years. She was a stay at home Mom for her three handsome boys while they grew up. Family was the most important job she had and held her family most dear.

Marlea enjoyed educating herself in religion and medical programs on the computer to expand her curiosity and keep up to date. She explored many things with her inquisitive mind and self awareness. She also enjoyed cooking for the family and created many perfected meals for everyone to enjoy. She also taught her boys how she made everything nice and delicious.

Marlea is survived by her sons Brett Cloutier, Eric/Heather Cloutier, Matthew/Christian Cloutier. Stepson Phillip/ Jennifer Cloutier and grandchildren Madison/Marshall Dietzen, Julian Cloutier, Brooklen Cloutier, Brady Cloutier, step-Grandchildren Justin and Alius, a great-grandson Myles Dietzen, and a sister Leanne/Duane (Melka) Sebero. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorial service/Celebration of life will be held for Marlea’s family and friends Friday July 10th, 2026 at Peshtigo Badger Park large Pavillion by the play ground. Service will be at the same pavilion at 3pm with dinner to follow and socialization. If your planning to stay for dinner please text or call Leanne 715-938-6266 so we can plan for the meal.
