Marjorie J. Goffin Wagner, of Marinette, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the age of 103.

Born on December 16,1922, in Menominee, Michigan, Marjorie was one of thirteen children born to Alfred and Ida Goffin. She carried throughout her life the strong values of hard work, resilience, and compassion that came from growing up in a large family.

On September 9, 1944 Marjorie married George F. Wagner, and together they built a life in Wisconsin. They raised four children: Todd Wagner (deceased), Tommy Wagner (deceased), Georgia Campbell of Maryland, and Debra Whipple of Connecticut.

Marjorie worked many jobs during her lifetime and took pride in each one. She was especially proud to have been one of the first waitresses at Mickey-Lu's Restaurant when they opened. She later spent many years as the baker at Schloegel's Restaurant, where many came to know and love “Aunt Margie’s Famous Pies.” Her warmth and talent in the kitchen brought comfort and joy to countless people over the years. Of all the work she did, Marjorie especially cherished her time as a nurse’s aide at Luther Home, where her compassion and gentle spirit touched many lives.

Marjorie was active in her church, Calvary Assembly of God, and her faith remained the foundation of her life. She will always be remembered for her compassion for people, her sense of humor, her generous heart, and her unwavering commitment to Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her daughters, Georgia and Don Campbell of Maryland and Debra and Bradford Whipple of Connecticut; her daughter-in-law, Ellen Wagner; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Marjorie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
