Posted

Leo Meyer Jr., 90, of Crivitz, WI passed away peacefully Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, at home with his family around him.

He was born on May 20th, 1935 to Leo and Olga (Anderson) Meyer Sr. in Beaver, WI at the family home. He attended school in Beaver and Coleman WI. Leo, along with his 5 sisters worked very hard on the family farm. He also worked for a short time in Chicago at Briggs and Stratton and at Graetz Manufacturing in Pound. He was in the Army reserves for six years.

Leo met the love of his life, Carol Christenson (John and Hilda) in 1957 and they married on October 17th at St. Michael’s Church in Suring, WI. Together they took over the Meyer family farm. They had six daughters and farmed there for nearly 30 years until his daughter and son-in-law took it over. They then moved to their current home in Crivitz where he and Carol raised beefers, mini horses and continued to help on the farm.

Leo always made time for church, family, snowmobiling (Jackpine riders), hunting, fishing, casino trips, gardening, working on Farmall tractors with his grandsons and the Green Bay Packers. After retiring he enjoyed breakfast almost every Friday with his sisters and a special cousin, Ewell, who he also called his sister. Leo was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. He will be greatly missed. Thank you for being such a good Husband and Father. Your stories will forever carry on in our hearts.

Leo is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carol.
