Earl Richard Bauman, 90, Oconto, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at Rennes West, Peshtigo. Earl was born May 21, 1935 in Grover to the late Otto and Leona (Lemke) Bauman. He married Sharon Exworthy on January 4, 1975 she preceded him in death on May 25, 2020. Earl learned how to drive truck while working for Bond Pickle and then drove truck the rest of his working career for A&P Grocery and retired from Super Valu Foods. Earl enjoyed selling his wood working crafts made by him and painted by Sharon. He also enjoyed the theater and performed at several theaters including the Machickanee Players.
Earl is survived by a daughter, Peggy (John) Schatz; four sons, Brian (Paula) Bauman, Scott (Christina) Exworthy, Billy Exworthy, Paul (Sue) Exworthy; 13 grandchildren, John (Kelsey) Bauman, Jason Bauman, Steven Bauman, David Schatz, Allie (Ethan) Euteneuer, Mitchell (Riley) Schatz, Alex (Tyler) Wanta, Douglas (Grace) Exworthy, Bradley (Beth) Exworthy, David Exworthy, Lindsay Exworthy, Lane Exworthy, and Miles Exworthy. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Harper and a brother, Roy Bauman.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Friday, January 23, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday at the funeral home by Steven Burton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfunealhome.net.
