Dani Jo Diges (Fifarek), age 65, passed away peacefully at her home in Wausaukee on December 30, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Marinette, Wisconsin, Dani lived a life defined by love, kindness, and devotion to her family. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Diges, and their beloved dog, Lucy; her daughters, Kylie (Brock Fischer), and Cheyanne (Sam Ayres); and her grandson Russell (Kylie).
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Violet Fifarek; her brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Mary.
Dani faced cancer with remarkable strength and positivity, never allowing the many challenges she endured to change who she was. She led with kindness in every situation and brought light wherever she went. Her care team often referred to her as a “trailblazer,” touched not only by her resilience but by the compassion she showed others even in her hardest moments.
She was funny, vibrant, and had a way of lighting up a room. Dani loved Christmas, cared deeply for her family, and was proud of the life she built with Lloyd. She was an incredible cook, a talented decorator, and loved thrifting—always finding beauty and potential in unexpected places.
Dani fought hard because she loved life and wanted more time with the people she loved most. Her presence will be missed profoundly.
In accordance with her wishes, Dani will be cremated, and no services will be held.
