Connie A. Gisenas, 71, of Pound passed away peacefully May 30, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was born to the late Richard and Marlene (Allard) Johnson on August 10, 1954 in Marinette, Wisconsin. Connie married Vernon Gisenas July 24, 1974 in Marinette.
Connie worked for the Marinette County Sheriff’s Department for many years until her retirement. She loved shopping and traveling, especially trips to Florida.
Surviving are her son Chris (Fiancé Riley) Gisenas; 8 grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Johnson; three sisters, Colleen (Mark) Monet, Cheryl (Bruce) Kmecheck, and Cindy Johnson. Connie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband, Vernon, Jr. and a sister, Cathy Boivin.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on June 28, 2026 from 12 Noon until 4 PM at Red Arrow Park, 600 Bird Street, Marinette, WI 54143.
