Suring drops homecoming matchup to Phillips 34-18, claims conference title
Friday night’s game didn’t end the way the Eagles would have liked but the team was able to hoist the M&O 8-man Conference trophy after the game, having wrapped up the conference title two weeks prior with an 18-12 win over Lena-STAA.

The Suring High 8-man football team was dealt its second loss of the season on Friday night as the Phillips Loggers made the trip to Suring and spoiled the Eagles’ homecoming by handing them a 34-18 defeat. The Eagles, who also celebrated an M&O 8-Man Conference title after Friday’s homecoming game, kept things close through the first half but fell behind after the break and could not recover.
