The Coleman Cougars overcame a 14-0 deficit at home against Hilbert on Friday in a sectional final battle, but couldn’t stop the Wolves late in what would be a 25-22 final
After taking a 22-16 advantage thanks to a pair of spectacular defensive scores, the Cougars were beat on a long Hilbert pass play that ended up in the end zone to tie the game. Later in the fourth the visitors put together a clock-burning possession that ended on a short field goal and the win.
