COLEMAN – The 2026 Refuel the Farmer event brought together local farmers, farm families, community organizations, businesses and volunteers to support the health and well-being of the agricultural community.
Hosted by the UW–Madison Division of Extension Marinette County and Patz Corporation, the event served more than 500 local farmers, farm family members and agricultural employees. Participants received a free meal along with snacks, hydration and practical health and well-being resources designed to support farmers and their families during the busy harvest season.
An event of this size would not have been possible without the many volunteers who gave their time to help prepare meals, organize supplies, direct traffic and keep the event running smoothly.
A special thank you goes to volunteers from Coleman FFA, Dairyland Electric, Frito-Lay, Lemke Heating & Cooling, Marinette County Breakfast on the Farm, Patz Corporation, PCM Credit Union and UW-Madison Division of Extension - Marinette County.
The organizers also extend their sincere appreciation to the businesses, organizations and community partners whose generous donations and sponsorships helped make Refuel the Farmer possible.
