NORTHEAST WIS. – Halloween is right around the corner, and communities are getting into the spooky spirit with a variety of festive events before neighborhood trick-or-treating takes place.
Make the most of the holiday (and the costumes) by visiting the different events and communities preparing for Halloween.
Marinette School District invites middle school students and their families to their Fall Fest and Family Night on Friday, Oct. 24, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Marinette Middle School (MMS). Costume contests, games, crafts and dancing are among the fun activities planned. Admission is free, but MMS students should bring their school ID.

The Oconto Falls Trick or Treat Trail is a free family event on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at West Side Beach Trail 307-399 N Flatley Ave., Oconto Falls.
Prior registration is required to enjoy the wooded trail walk, treats, vendors, games and prizes, pumpkins and more.

Amberg Parks and Recreation will host a Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Amberg Ball Diamond from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Anyone is welcome to come and set up their trunk for the children to trick or treat. There will be hot chocolate available, along with free hot dogs for the first 400 attendees. A costume contest and other games will be held.
A regular trunk or treat as well as a peanut-free trunk or treat will be offered.
Any candy provided at the peanut-free trunk or treat must not contain or have had any contact with peanuts.
Those handing out candy are asked to please be parked and set up no later than 2:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 25, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. a night of trunk or treat will be hosted in Goodman at W15848 HWY 8 at Gr8 North Storage. Everyone is invited to enjoy free hot chocolate, chili and hot dogs.

The DAR Boys & Girls Club will host trunk or treat on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the DAR Boys & Girls Club on 951 8th Ave., Menominee, Mich., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Attendees are invited to participate in a night of fun carnival games, each costing a penny to play, while wearing their halloween costumes. Tickets from carnival games can be cashed in for prizes.

The Marinette Community Rec Center will host trunk or treat on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 2501 Pierce Ave., Marinette, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Families are invited to enjoy this trick-or-treating experience from decorated trunks at the Rec Center.

Holy Trinity Parish Trunk or Treat
Trunk or treat will be hosted by Holy Trinity Parish on Friday, Oct. 31, at 300 Arbutus Ave., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Candy, food and games will be provided for attendees.

The Crivitz Community Ed Trunk or Treat will take place on Friday, Oct. 31, in the Crivitz Village Hall parking lot, 800 Henriette Ave., Crivitz. This event will be held during trick-or-treating hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
