CRIVITZ – The Crivitz Area Women’s Club hosted their 18th annual Back-to-School event on Aug. 20 in the Crivitz High School cafeteria.
This year, 148 students participated and received school supplies and essential hygiene products to help them begin the new school year prepared and confident.
For the women’s club, this annual event is about much more than distributing school supplies. It is an opportunity to help local students start the school year feeling prepared, valued and supported by their community.
“Knowing that each child has the supplies they need to walk into the classroom with confidence makes this event especially meaningful,” the club shared.
The Crivitz Area Women’s Club extended their heartfelt appreciation to the M&M Community Foundation, New Care Inc., St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Fisher’s Camp Resort and the Marinette County Tavern League for their generous donations and continued support.
The generosity of these organizations, along with everyone who contributed to this event, makes it possible for the Women’s Club to continue supporting children and families in our community. Their kindness is a wonderful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together to help its young people succeed.
