September 10
At 6:08 a.m., a two-vehicle traffic crash occurred on US 41 in Stephenson Township when a 22-year-old Powers man attempted a left-hand turn and failed to yield to a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old Wallace man. Both vehicles were disabled, and the Wallace man was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
At 5:15 p.m., a 69-year-old Hermansville woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated after being stopped on US 2 in Spalding Township for following too close. She was transported to and lodged at the Menominee County Jail.
September 12
At 10:07 a.m., a larceny complaint at a residence on Pine Hill Court in Menominee Township became a trespass complaint. Both involved parties were warned of criminal trespass and released.
At 9:51 p.m., an investigation began into a harassment and identity complaint on G08 in Mellen Township. The caller stated someone had created a social media account using his name and was then harassing someone else. The investigation is ongoing.
September 14
At 6:27 a.m., the owner of a loose dog on #34 Road. in Nadeau Township, which was reported as an ongoing issue, was contacted and cited for failure to leash a dog.
At 7:56 a.m., a report was completed and sent to the prosecutor’s office for possible charges of misuse of 911 after a 39-year-old Escanaba woman (who was belligerent and hung up) called 911 several times throughout the day asking Escanaba Public Safety to get her son.
At 9:27 a.m., a 21-year-old Stephenson woman was arrested for domestic assault on G12 in the City of Stephenson. She was transported to the Menominee County Jail where she was lodged.
At 1:37 p.m., a report regarding an ongoing neighbor issue in the City of Stephenson was sent to the prosecutor’s office for review. The caller stated the neighbor’s lawn blowing caused damage to his residence.
At 3:45 p.m., deputies responded to a juvenile problem on G12 in Lake Township. They transported the juvenile to the hospital for an evaluation without incident.
September 15
At 7:29 a.m., an investigation into a report of sexual assault that occurred the day prior at a business on US 41 in Stephenson Township led to the arrest of a 67-year-old Stephenson man a couple of weeks later. He was arrested for criminal sexual conduct — fourth degree, as well as resisting and obstructing and was lodged at the Menominee County Jail.
At 10:35 a.m., an ongoing investigation began into a larceny complaint on J1 Road in Nadeau Township after a caller reported an item missing from his barn.
At 12:33 p.m., an ongoing incident of illegal dumping on CR 366 in Cedarville Township was investigated after some items were located in a ditch.
At 5:48 p.m., an investigation into a malicious destruction of property and animal cruelty complaint on West Drive in Menominee Township was closed due to lack of evidence. The caller suspected his neighbor put something in his equipment’s gas tanks and fed his dog something that made it ill.
September 16
At 9:20 a.m., a disorderly juvenile on US 41 in Nadeau Township was placed into protective custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation.
At 1:22 p.m., an investigation into a home invasion/breaking and entering complaint on 18th Avenue in Menominee Township was conducted. The incident was sent to the prosecutor’s office for review and possible charges.
September 17
At 12:10 p.m., a deputy and the Daggett Fire Department responded to Linderoth Road in Lake Township for hay bales on fire in a field. The owner reported the fire started when he was attempting to repair a flat tire on his trailer, and no injuries were reported.
At 6:12 p.m., a court-ordered petition was served on a subject on M35 in Menominee Township, and the subject was placed in protective custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation.
September 18
At 11:26 a.m., a threats complaint on Haggerson Court in Menominee Township was closed after the caller requested that a 64-year-old Menominee man, who had threatened to hit her with his car the day before, be warned of criminal trespass.
At 2:55 p.m., an investigation into a domestic assault at G12, where a woman had argued with her boyfriend in Peshtigo, was conducted and closed.
At 7:29 p.m., an investigation began into a hit and run crash on G12 in Lake Township. The caller stated a vehicle coming at him crossed the centerline, striking his mirror and scratching the side of his car, and no injuries were reported.
At 9:33 p.m., a larceny complaint was filed by a subject housed at the jail. The complainant stated several items were missing from his residence and he had some suspect information. The investigation is ongoing.
Menominee Police Department: October 10 - October 16
October 10
At 1 a.m., a 35-year-old male was arrested for trespassing in the 2900 block of 10th Street.
At 8:21 a.m., officers investigated a report of an assault in the 1500 block of 23rd Avenue.
At 12:16 p.m., a 41-year-old male was arrested for no operator’s license at 10th Street and 14th Avenue.
October 11
At 2 a.m., a 29-year-old female was arrested for having open intoxicants in a vehicle at Memorial Drive and 14th Avenue.
At 2:06 a.m., a 19-year-old male was arrested for having open intoxicants in a vehicle and for being a minor in possession of alcohol — first offense at Memorial Drive and 14th Avenue.
At 12:15 p.m., a 53-year-old male was arrested for the possession of 21 fish over the legal limit at River Park Campground.
At 1:14 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at 39th Avenue and North Shore Drive, resulting in minor damage to one vehicle and functional damage to the other, but no injuries.
At 1:14 p.m., a 42-year-old male was arrested on a bench warrant through the Menominee Police Department at 39th Avenue and North Shore Drive.
At 5:05 p.m., officers assisted the fire department, rescue squad, and paramedics at Lighthouse Pier Harbor Drive where two adults and a child in the water were being assisted by good samaritans.
At 11:46 p.m., a 49-year-old female was arrested on a felony warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at 35th Avenue and 10th Street.
October 12
At 6:30 a.m., a 19-year-old male was arrested on a bench warrant through the Menominee Police Department and transported from the Delta County Michigan jail to the Menominee County jail.
At 9:06 a.m., officers recovered a children’s bicycle in the 1500 block of 22nd Avenue that the owner said had been left there for about a week.
At 9:10 a.m., a 14-year-old female who had been reported as a runaway was located and returned to her family in the 4500 block of 7th Street.
At 3:48 p.m., a 48-year-old female was arrested for disorderly conduct and for violating her conditional bond release at 11th Avenue and 13th Street.
At 6:21 p.m., a 35-year-old male was arrested in the 1300 block of 16th Street for felonious assault with a weapon, interfering with a 911 call and resisting and obstructing police officers.
October 13
At 1:43 a.m., a 31-year-old male was arrested for assault in the 1100 block of 38th Avenue.
At 12:20 p.m., a 47-year-old male was arrested for not having insurance on a vehicle and speeding in the 1400 block of 10th Avenue.
At 4:09 p.m., officers investigated a report of a burglary at a residence being remodeled in the 2100 block of 12th Avenue, where several tools and paint were taken.
At 7:54 p.m., a 41-year-old male was arrested at 10th Avenue and 11th Street for operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor or drugs and speeding.
October 14
At 2:02 p.m., officers investigated a two-vehicle accident at 16th Avenue and 17th Street, resulting in minor damage to one vehicle and functional damage to the other, but no injuries.
At 5:36 p.m., a 38-year-old male was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant through the Menominee Police Department and transported from the Chippewa County Michigan correctional facility to the Menominee County jail.
At 7 p.m., a 37-year-old female was arrested on three misdemeanor warrants through the Menominee Police Department in the 800 block of 10th Avenue.
October 15
At 6:33 a.m., officers assisted a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle in the 1600 block of West Drive.
At 11:23 a.m., officers assisted a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle in the 4100 block of 13th Street.
October 16
At 3:03 p.m., officers investigated a two-vehicle accident between a passenger car and a semi at 10th Avenue and 13th Street. The accident resulted in functional damage to the car and no damage to the semi, with no injuries reported.
At 4:15 p.m., a 50-year-old male was arrested for not having an operator’s license at 10th Street and 23rd Avenue.

October 12
At 8:46 a.m., two kittens — one brown tabby and one black, approximately five to six weeks old — were found at 1114 Pierce Ave. and brought to Town & Country vet.
At 9:17 a.m., Brett Flanary was taken into custody for lewd and lascivious behavior at 2716 Roosevelt Rd.
At 2:45 p.m., a 16-year-old male was cited for truancy in the City of Marinette.
October 14
At 3:02 p.m., a domestic medium hair tortoiseshell female cat — approximately three years old and without a collar — was reported as an animal problem at 2541 Carney Ave.
At 8:57 p.m., David L. Semrau was cited for public urination, first offense, for lewd and lascivious behavior at 2297 Roosevelt Rd.
At 10:31 p.m., David B. Thyne was taken into custody for operating under the influence—first offense at Pierce Avenue and Daggett Street.
October 15
At 3:10 p.m., vehicles operated by Chelsea Petts and Jacob Poquette collided at 1600 Ely St. There were no injuries and no citations.
At 3:17 p.m., a vehicle operated by Alexander Cisneros-Gomez struck a parked vehicle owned by EAN Holdings at 1600 Ely St. There were no injuries and no citations.
At 7:42 p.m., Jarrid Larson of Marinette was arrested on a probation hold for a disturbance at 1419 Sherman St.
October 16
At 12:17 p.m., vehicles operated by Samantha Batterson and David Stone collided in a traffic accident at 2291 Roosevelt Rd. There were no injuries and no citations.
October 18
At 10:45 a.m., Bradley Jahn was taken into custody for obstructing/resisting an officer and felony bail jumping due to a suspicious circumstance at 32 W Russell St.
At 9:52 p.m., Mary Dodge was taken into custody on two warrants at 2128 Hall Ave.
October 19
At 1:36 a.m., Cailin Gonzalez was taken into custody for interfering with the investigation and resisting/obstructing an officer at 2029 Hall Ave.
At 2:26 a.m., Miikiah Strubbs was taken into custody for operating while under the influence—first offense and resisting/obstructing an officer at 905 Madison Ave. In the same incident, Dwight M. Taylor was also taken into custody for resisting/obstructing an officer.
At 5:23 p.m., Matthew Buchanan was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and battery following a domestic disturbance at 2019 Sherman St.
