CRIVITZ – The Crivitz Bowhunter’s Club fundraiser banquet will happen on Saturday, April 27 with doors opening at 5 p.m. at the Pullman House, N2190 US Hwy 41 Menominee, Mich. The event will include big ticket and bucket raffles, a live auction and a 50/50 cash drawing. 

SILVER CLIFF – A larger group than usual was in attendance at the Silver Cliff Town Hall on March 9, to play cards. Prize winners at Smear were Zelma Rosenbaum taking High, Laurie Painter and Edith Smith tying for Second, tying for Third were Sabin Rosenbaum and Cliff Sisler. Liv Kralovetz claimed Low. Dan Betts was selected for the Door Prize and Sue Victoreen was the hostess. There are two more nights to get in on raising money for Silver Cliff Rescue Squad. The next card party will be on March 16, at 6 p.m. 

A fundraiser for the Porterfield/ Grover Volunteer Fire Department will be held at the Marinette Moose Lodge 2327, 5233 Nettleton Rd. four miles north on HWY 180. The event will be held on Feb. 14, from 5-7 p.m. The food will either be a perch fry for $16 or chicken strips for $14, each will be served with a choice of French fries or potato salad, coleslaw, beans and rye bread. PESHTIGO – Multiple guns, a STIHL weed whacker, a 50-inch television and an ice shanty are just a few of the many prizes available at the Healing Patriots Fundraiser. Healing Patriots, a 501(c)(3), will be holding their annual fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 2, and Saturday, Feb. 3.  On Friday, February 2nd, the card, 50-50 and bucket raffles begins at 4 p.m. at the Drees Center located at 600 Pine Street in Peshtigo.  Additionally, doors open Saturday, Feb. 3 starting at 10 a.m.
