Thomas “Freddie” Frederick, age 73, of Crivitz, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2026. Born on June 8, 1952, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Tom was the eldest son of Edmund and Patricia Frederick. He married Mary Adamczak on May 12, 1989 at Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Ashwaubenon.
He made many lifelong friends during his 29 years working at Fort Howard Paper Company and retired in 2001. Tom was an avid fisherman and hunter from a young age, spending time in the outdoors with his dad, brothers and cousins growing up. After retirement, Tom took advantage of Wisconsin’s many hunting seasons and went fishing nearly year-round with friends and family. Anyone who spent even a little time talking with Tom would be treated to an amusing anecdote from his many hunting or fishing adventures. Tom enjoyed trips to Oregon, Washington, California, Florida, Georgia, Yellowstone and Alaska in retirement.
Tom was known by all for his welcoming nature and easy smile, and he made friends wherever he went. He was always willing to help his friends and neighbors with any projects, especially if it involved taking a drive or using one of his many tools. He was especially proud of moving the family cabin to a hunting parcel with his brothers and nephews. Tom enjoyed Wisconsin sports, cheering on the Brewers, Packers, and Bucks season after season.
He is survived by his wife Mary, their children Scott Gigot and Robin (Charles) Bedard, siblings Jim (Chris), Mary (Bob) Finley, John (Val), Laurie (Mark) Conradt, the Adamczak in-laws and their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Mary will make donations to the Twin Bridge Rescue Squad in memory of Tom. The family appreciates the assistance and compassion of the rescue squad.
Tom was a lover of nature and the outdoors in every season. The next time you spend some time outside, imagine Tom is there with you, making more memories
