Sheila Louise Perkett, 72, of Marinette passed away on July 25, 2026, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. She was born on April 3, 1954, in Flint, Mich. to the late Robert and Joyce (Best) Wymer.
Sheila was raised in Clio, Mich., and moved to Marinette in February of 1976. She married Wayne M. Perkett on March 6, 1976, in Walsh.
Sheila was a member of Moose Lodge 2327 and retired from Dollar Tree after working there for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, camping, spending time at the family cabin, and, most of all, being with her grandchildren and first great-granddaughter.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Wayne; children, Melissa (Kim) Beherendt, Wayne (Melissa) Perkett and Michelle (Mike) Stepniak, all of Marinette; grandchildren, Seth, Hannah (Josh), Kaylee, Gabe, Brent, Jazmyn, Mikey, Noah and Caleb; great-grandchildren, Emmett and Hosanna; special friends, Kim, Doni, J.B. and Brooke; brothers, Tom (Susan) Stedry, Dick Wymer (special friend Rochelle); and sister-in-law, Evonne (Matt) Hess; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joyce Wymer; in-laws, Ivan and Antoinette Perkett; an infant son, Brent; brothers, Fred and Gary Wymer; brother-in-law, Roger Perkett; and a sister-in-law, LaDonna Burzyck.
Visitation will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 4 until 7 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Peshtigo.
A Celebration of Life will also be held at the Moose Lodge Pavilion from 4 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
