Ralph "Chuck" Comins Jr., 79, of Lena, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. He was born on August 22, 1946 to the late Ralph and Elva (Rich) Comins Sr. He was a 1964 graduate of Lena High School. Chuck was united in marriage to Linda Mueller on September 17, 1966. Together they shared 59 years of marriage.
Chuck attended NWTC and received his Electricians degree. He was a member of IBEW158 and worked at Proctor and Gamble as the lead foreman. He taught hunter safety class for 36 years, was on the church council at Our Saviors Lutheran Church for 20 years, was a member of the Lions Club for 10 years and President for 4 years. He was also an active member of the Lena School Board for over 20 years, including holding a position of President for several years.
Chuck loved to hunt, compete in antique tractor pulls, and grow extensive gardens with his wife. More recently, he has enjoyed a hobby of canning and making sausage. He also loved going for his daily morning and evening bike rides with his dog, Rose, who was always by his side wherever he went.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda, children; Renne Crozier-Comins, Robin (Tom) Boville, and Roxann (Mark) Kushner, 4 grandsons; Ryan Comins, Michael (Rachel) Crozier, Jess Marquardt, and Matthew Crozier, 1 granddaughter; Madalynn Kushner, 4 great grandchildren; Amelia, Charles, James, and Charlotte Crozier, 3 brothers; Ronnie, Roger, and Reggie Comins.
In addition to nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, he is further survived by his best friends; Wayne Seefeldt, Paul Madson, Paul Kramer, Lee VanDrisse, and Tim LaVarda.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin siblings; Sandy and Kenneth Comins, brother; Richard Comins, father and mother in law; Ted and Verona Mueller, sister in law; Cynthia Piontek, brother in law; Pat Rauterkaus, and nephew; Wayne Piontek.
Family will greet friends and relatives on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Our Savior Lutheran Church 327 S Rosera St. Lena, WI. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the church. Pastor Ryan Landwehr to officiate.
