Post 39 bounced back from last week's 12-6 loss to the Menominee Red Wave with a 4-1 victory Saturday afternoon at Pedersen Ball Park.
Teagan Anderson broke a scoreless tie with a two-run home run to right-center in the third inning, and Cooper Smith made the lead stand up, scattering three hits while striking out seven over a complete-game effort.
Chase MacGregor doubled and scored twice, Smith added two RBIs, and Maveric Williamson reached base twice as Post 39 added insurance runs in the fifth before closing out the win. Menominee's lone run came on a sacrifice fly in the sixth.
