Peshtigo Lions Club welcomes new members and officers

Posted

PESHTIGO – At the April 13 meeting, the Peshtigo Lions Club proudly welcomed six new members during a special induction ceremony led by District Governor Lion Mike Milbach.

The induction of new members is always a meaningful moment in Lionism, reflecting growth, service and a continued commitment to meeting the needs of the community. Each new Lion brings unique talents, perspectives and a shared desire to live out the Lions motto, “We Serve.”

The newest members inducted into the Peshtigo Lions Club are: Lion Tim Neumann, sponsored by Lion Mark Neumann; Lions Riki Rysewyk, Kris McClain, Bonnie Turner and Mike Fifarek, sponsored by Lion Rhonda McClain; and Lion Dennis Rysewyk, sponsored by Lion Paul McClain.

Milbach also inducted the Peshtigo Lions Club 2026-2027 Officers at the monthly club meeting.

These new Lions now join a global network of volunteers dedicated to humanitarian service. Their involvement strengthens the club’s ability to make a difference locally and contribute to Lions Clubs International’s global causes, including childhood cancer, diabetes, disaster relief, environment, humanitarian efforts, hunger, vision and youth.

While these focus areas guide service, Lions understand that true impact comes from responding directly to the needs of the community — wherever and whatever those needs may be.

The Peshtigo Lions Club continues to demonstrate the core values of Lionism: service, integrity, collaboration, diversity, innovation and dedication to excellence. The addition of these six new members reflects a strong future built on collective action and servant leadership — leading to serve, and serving to lead.

The club extends a warm welcome to its newest members and looks forward to the positive impact they will help create.
