Patricia R. Peterson 80, of Marinette passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Residence by Rennes. She was born on March 17, 1945, to the late Harvey and Ruby (Carlson) Heck in Menominee and attended Marinette High School. On June 25, 1966, Patricia married Richard “Dick” Peterson at Zion Lutheran in Marinette; he preceded her in death on December 16, 2022. She worked for Gardens in Menominee, where she met Dick. She also worked as the Lunch Lady at Marinette Middle School for many years and in the office for Peterson Sewer Cleaning. She enjoyed baking, canning, gardening, and bird watching. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Neil) Johnson of Peshtigo and Terry (Dan) Potter of Marinette; grandson, Bryan (Autum) Johnson; and brother Jeff (Heidi) Heck. In addition to her parents and husband, Dick, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Johnson and brother, Harvey Heck Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion on Saturday, November 29th beginning at 3pm. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
The family would like to thank the staff with Residence by Rennes and Unity Hospice for all of their wonderful, compassionate care. And an extra thank to Carol and Ann for all the special care shown to Patricia.
