Mary Wager

Posted

A beautiful soul, Mary Koziol Wager, has left us. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. May her memory be a blessing. Mary, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, surrounded by the wonderful people at Sun Valley Homes in Marinette. She was born in Chicago on June 28, 1947, the daughter of the late John and Ann (Hayduk) Koziol. She initially attended Coleman High School, WI, but graduated from high school in Chicago. Upon graduation, at age 17, she started her banking career in Chicago, which stretched over 40 years. Mary was united in marriage to Bruce Wager in Salt Lake City, Utah. When their children were young, the family moved from Utah to Crivitz, where she built her dream home and raised her children. Mary was a fun-loving individual who enjoyed her family, friends, job, and community of people. She always had an evident smile and shared with many, especially if you helped her indulge in her favorite “Little Debbie” desserts. Mary was a dog lover and was known to share stories of all her furry babies and their many adventures.

Mary is survived by her three children: John Troy (Jackie), Travis, and Tristan; grandchildren: Genevieve (22), Cecelia (19), and Alexander (19); the father of her children, Bruce; her best friend and sister, Barbara (Joseph) Darga; further survived by nieces, nephews, and many loving helpers.

Her final resting place will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Crivitz, alongside her son, Torrey, who preceded her in death.

Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee is assisting Mary’s family.
