Mary J. Neubert, 96, of Marinette passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Luther Home. She was born on November 23, 1928, to the late Sam and Ann (Taglavia) Cicero in Marion, OH. On August 23, 1947, Mary married Charles Neubert in Chicago; he preceded her in death on April 10, 1992. They moved to McCallister in 1969, where she was a homemaker who was well known for her cooking, especially her spaghetti and meatballs. She also enjoyed baking, gardening, and sewing. She loved to spend time with her family who always came first. She was a very devoted mother and friend.
Mary is survived by sons, Art (Pauline) Neubert and Mike (Kathy) Neubert both of Marinette; daughters: Joyce (Jake) David of Green Bay, Sue (Tom) Neubert of Abrams, and Lou Ann (John) Schackmann of Marinette; 14 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, and husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by sons, Charlie and Sam, grandson, Keith, infant great granddaughter, Laila; sister, Virginia Mucci, and daughter in law Shirley Neubert of Worcester, OH.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 4th from 3:30-5:30pm with services at 5:30pm.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
