Marinette Post 39 notched another win Tuesday, rolling to an 8-2 victory over Green Bay Southwest behind another solid all-around effort.
Levi Hanson worked through early traffic on the mound before settling in and Marinette's defense backed him with several key plays, including catcher Caleb Klimek gunning down a runner at second.
After a first inning RBI double from Klimek to score Chase MacGregor, Post 39 broke a 1-1 tie with a two-run fourth inning, then pulled away with two more runs in the fifth and added insurance in the sixth and seventh. Sawyer Walters delivered a two-run double, Cooper Smith tripled home a run and Teagan Anderson finished with a double, triple and two RBIs. Jackson Schramm added a sacrifice fly while Jake Farley and Chase MacGregor each chipped in RBIs.
Colton Arpke came on in relief to help close out the win.
