Marian Rosner

Marian Myrtle (Rymer) Rosner, 99, passed away peacefully at her son’s home surrounded by family on August 28, 2026. Marian was born in Niagara, WI on March 10, 1927. Her parents were Dow and Myrtle (Gisenas) Rymer.

Marian graduated from Coleman High School in 1945. She then took a job at Baker’s Studio in Marinette where she worked as a painter for 5 years. From there she attended Marinette County Normal School (Teacher’s College) and graduated in 1954. She started teaching at Beaver School in 1954 and taught there for 7 years. She then was a substitute teacher for the Coleman School District.

She was united in marriage to Roy Allan Rosner on June 15, 1957 at Pioneer Baptist Church. They took over the family farm in 1957 until their son took over in 1997.

Marian is survived by her four children, Allan (Wanda) Rosner, Lori (Brian) Murphy, Lee Rosner and Scott (Jennie) Rosner; five grandchildren, Amber (Reggie) Thompson, Aaron (Stacy) Rosner, Tyler Murphy, Hannah Rosner and Logan Rosner; and six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Grayson, Easton, Bria, Nora and Aayla. Marian is further survived by a brother, Arnold Rymer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; her parents; two brothers, Lyle (Monica) Rymer and Colin (Shirley) Rymer; one sister, Evelyn Dodge; and one grandson, Jordan Roy Rosner.

At her request, no formal service will be held.
