LORETTA “CHIC” RETLICK, 78 of Menominee passed away on Friday July 17, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area in Marinette with her family by her side. Loretta Mae Hannon was born on December 15, 1947 in Daggett, MI to Elmer and Anna (Schmidt) Hannon. On July 24, 1965 Chic married David Hanna in Banat, MI. He preceded her in death. On October 1, 1988 she married George Retlick in Menominee, MI. Chic worked for Menominee Paper for many years. She enjoyed dancing, sewing, gardening, cooking and baking. Chic was a very social person and enjoyed socializing with “her people.”
Chic is survived by her son: Scott (Brenda) Hanna; daughter: Wendy (Mark) Mogensen; 4 grandchildren: Parker, Bryce, Allison (Shean) and Corey (Sarah); great granddaughter: Madison; 2 brothers: Dennis (Janet) Hannon and Jim (Carol) Hannon; good friends: Vi & Roy Turcotte and Debbie Schmidt; her feline companion: Milo; nieces and nephews.
Chic was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer & Anna; and 2 husbands: David & George
Visitation will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home on Tuesday July 21, 2026 from 2:00 pm until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 pm with Father Tyler Rivard officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
