Lake Noquebay Fishing Tournament a Huge Success

There was a fishing tournament hosted by Darrell Polzin on the waters of Lake Noquebay in Crivitz on July 20th and July 27th that saw many area fisherman enjoy a day of fishing with some nice catches to boot.

Some of the winners of the fishing event were a first-place finish in the tonnage category by Bryan Meyer and Alex Maynard with a finish of 17.78 pounds.

2nd place went to Josh Brault and Jeff Baffney with a weight of 15.94 lbs while third place was taken by Ken Vieth and Pat Kamin with a weight of 13.12 lbs.

The July 20th event saw a bass tourney also take place with Colin Toneys and Bob Alrndt securing first place with a finish weight of 14 lbs.

Second place went to Casey Kmiecik and Cody James with a combined weight of 13.96 pounds as well as getting the largest bass which weighed in at 3.68 lbs.

Third place in the bass was Rob Thomas and Michaela James with a weight of 10.42 pounds.

Joe Fischer and Scott Toneys won the Northern category with a combined weight of 10.42 pounds

July 27th saw a strictly bass tournament with first place taken by Colin Toneys and Bill Frit with a combined weight of 15.24 pounds. The duo also secured the largest bass at 14.2 pounds. 

Scott Balda and Ralph Moser placed third with 13.46 pounds.
