Kevin Alan (Cat) Geimer, age 66 of Pound, WI (formerly of Reedsburg) died peacefully at home on January 24, 2026 surrounded by his loving family, two dogs, and two cats. He struggled for many years with complications from diabetes, but ultimately died from melanoma.

He was born to Tom and Delores (Plainse) Geimer on March 22, 1959 in Ladysmith, WI. Kevin was the third of six children.

Kevin was a fun-loving, mischievous brother who delighted in tormenting his sisters! By the grace of God he survived his hard living younger years and grew up to become a responsible and loving husband, father, and grandfather. While working at 29 Sausage in Kewanee, WI he met his loving and devoted wife Sue. They got married on April 24,1982. Kevin and Sue welcomed two sons to the world (Thomas and Richard). Kevin was a devoted father, who instilled the importance of a balance between hard work and play into his boys. Kevin never missed a chance to support his sons, showing up to every sporting event. Even after both his sons graduated he was an avid attendee of football and wrestling events. Kevin enjoyed spending time with family by trail riding, fishing, and was known for gathering people together to grill out. Kevin had an infectious personality; you would often find him telling jokes or retelling stories of the “good ole days”. He never shied away from helping others who needed it. After many hard working years, Kevin retired as a Federal Meat Inspector. In his retirement, Kevin found great enjoyment in spending time with his family and being grandpa to his granddaughter Violet.

He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law. He is survived by his wife Sue and sons Thomas and Richard (Brittany) Geimer, beloved granddaughter with another granddaughter due in March. He also leaves behind his siblings: Deb (Andy) Adams, Cindy (Tim) Zahrte, Mary (Theopolis) Smith, Sue (Joe) Berdan, and Charlie (JoAnn) Geimer, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or funeral as per his wishes. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held later on this year.
