Karen Kriedeman, 75 of Marinette, passed away at Aurora BayCare Medical Center on Saturday, March 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 29, 1950, she was the oldest daughter of Harold and June (LeSage) Lemire. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1968 and married her high school sweetheart, Roger Kriedeman. They had two children together, Amy and Roger Jr.
While being a wife and mother, she also spent decades working as the head chef at Brothers Three in Marinette, sold Home Interiors, and later became a family care giver, which led her to her next job she truly enjoyed. Karen went to work as a concierge at Luther Home where she loved her residents dearly.
Karen’s first priority was always her family. She was the glue that held the family together. A born organizer who enjoyed bringing everyone together regardless of the occasion; whether it was a birthday party, Christmas celebration or some other life event, she was the one who stepped in to take the lead and make sure all of the details were covered. She didn’t have to be asked, she knew what needed to be done and did it.
She was a great daughter, mother, grandma, sister, friend, and an exceptional wife and just the best cook, cookie baker and party hostess. A great listener with a soft voice, that still knew when to speak up for others. Karen was the secretary for the non-profit organization, Auto Junkiez for Veterans, helping her son give back to those that gave so much. In her free time, she enjoyed going to car shows with her husband and friends, traveling and spending time with her family particularly her children, grandchildren, and great granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger Kriedeman; her children, Amy Kriedeman and Roger (Sandy) Kriedeman; beloved grandchildren: Kaylee, Nicholas, Nicolas, and Jacob; great-granddaughter Emeryson; her brother, Peanut (Karen) Lemire; sister, Cindy (Terry) Doran; sister in laws, Karen “Cookie” Kriedeman-Clement and Dawn Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and June and in-laws, Arthur and Audrey;brothers, Steve and Darold Lemire; and brother in laws: Keith Kriedeman, Larry Kriedeman, Dennis Johnson, and Vince Clement.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the American Heart Association in her honor. Nobody had a bigger heart than she did and no one was loved by her family more than she was. She will be desperately missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th from 1-4pm at Thielen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 4pm with Deacon Steve Gretzinger officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
