Joyce M. Patenaude, 85, of Coleman, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025. She was born on March 27, 1940 to the late Napoleon and Isabel Durocher. Joyce graduated from Coleman High School in 1958 and lived in Coleman most of her life, working at Coleman High School for 39 years. She was united in marriage on November 22, 1958 to Richard Patenaude. Together they celebrated 67 loving years of marriage.
Joyce enjoyed socializing and building puzzles with friends with an occasional glass of Mogen David blackberry wine.
Survivors include her husband, Richard, two sons; Jeff (Tina) Patenaude and Rick (Terri) Patenaude, five grandchildren; Tony, Kyle, Teressa, Tamara, and Tiffany, 10 great grandchildren, three sisters; Connie Konop of Sussex, Corrine (Dick) Krueger of Appleton, and Myra (Dennis) Fiedorowicz of Pound, brother; Greg (Patsy) Durocher of Elkhorn, sister in law; Aleca, and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Mike Durocher, sister in law; Ruth, and brother in law; Ronnie.
Relatives will greet family and friends on Friday, January 2, 2026 at St. Anne Catholic Church 228 E. Main St. Coleman, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 AM with Father Ben Johnson Officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff of Unity Hospice, and the Nurses at HSHS St. Claire’s of Oconto Falls, WI.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
