John F. Becker Sr. age 89, of Wausaukee, died peacefully Saturday October 26,2024, with his wife by his side at Marshfield MC-Dickinson. He was born in Wausaukee on July 3, 1935; son of the late Lawrence and Catherine (Johnson) Becker. After graduating from Wausaukee High School in 1953 he joined the United States Navy from 1954 until being discharged in 1958. On June 8, 1973, John married Diana Klein in Woodstock, Illinois. He thoroughly enjoyed carpentry and was a talented builder. John enjoyed yardwork, fishing, and country life.
John is survived by his loving wife, Diana; children: John (Diane) Becker Jr., Larry (Carol) Becker, Barbara Huffman, and Mark (Jeannie) Millner; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters: Lois Dunn, Helen Vance, and Mary Jane Skelton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters and brothers: Alta, Elaine, Edwin, and Ken.
Visitation will be on Saturday November 2, 2024, at Roubal Funeral Home from 9am until the time of his Funeral Service at 11am. with full Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting John’s family with arrangements.
