I am writing to express my support for David Buechler as the best candidate to serve as Marinette County District 22 Supervisor. As a service-oriented candidate he has given more than he has taken from our community. His dedication as a continued volunteer member of the Emergency Rescue Squad after having already served for 43 years is insurmountable. Additionally, he has been a member of our Town of Peshtigo Fire Commission since 2020.

David Buechler is well versed in local government having previously served 16 years on the Marinette City Council, five of which as Council President.

His community engagement is second to none with active memberships with the Marinette Moose Lodge, Marinette Elks Lodge and Southern Marinette County UTV/ATV Club.

In addition to all these areas of service and commitment to our local communities, David Buechler also worked 35 years as Service Manager at Gustman Automotive Group and now, with his wife Chera, owns and operates a successful local business, Lithocrafters Printing, in Marinette.

I have found David Buechler to be open-minded with a sense of obligation for fact-finding and information sharing. I have never known him to listen to rumors and knowingly share false information. Being a community leader can be difficult, particularly with controversial decisions that our County Board has faced in the past and will undoubtedly do so again in the future. Making decisions that go against the wishes of some in the community are bound to happen but that is why it is imperative to listen to opposing views. I have no doubt that David Buechler will provide adequate representation of those in District 22 with a willingness to act on the majority rather than a select few. Just as the majority will determine District 22’s representative in the upcoming election that representative’s decision making should also reflect the MAJORITY of those he represents.

I hope you will join me in voting for DAVID BUECHLER for Marinette County District 22 Supervisor in the April 2nd election. It’s time to bring truth, integrity and fair representation back to our district!
