Jeffery A. Ruleford age 69 of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on July 18th after a short battle with a rare form of liver cancer.
Born in Menominee, Michigan on August 15th 1954, he was the first son of the late Leonard and Rita (Bertrand) Ruleford. He attended public schools in Menominee Ml and Kenosha WI, graduating from George Nelson Tremper High.
Jeffery returned to Menominee after high school where he worked for many years at Rydal's Dry-Cleaning Service, and then in the Marinette WI area school system.
In 2005, Jeffery moved to Punta Gorda FL to help his sister and her family rebuild after extensive damage to their property from Hurricane Charlie. He then chose to remain in the area where he worked at Shore Point Health in Punta Gorda for 17 years as an Environmental Services Worker. While living in Menominee, he was a member of the Resurrection Parish and upon moving to Punta Gorda, became a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Beginning as a child in Boy Scout Troop 14 in Kenosha, Jeffery came to love outdoor life with a passion for camping, fishing, hunting, or just sitting back whittling a stick and enjoying nature.

Albert (Cody Vandersteen) Ruleford of Green Bay, WI.
Karla (Phillip Mailloux) Ruleford of Menominee, MI.
Katie (Shawn) Fehr of Menominee, WI.
Richard Ruleford, residence unavailable.
Bradley Ruleford of Oconto, WI.
His two sisters:
Debra (Dan) Johnson of Pembine, WI.
Catherine (Carl) Eisen of Punta Gorda, FL.
Along with: Five Grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Rita, his brother Paul Sr., and his nephew Sam.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 14th, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Parish 2607 18th St. Menominee, Ml 49868.
Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the Church for Mass. Inurnment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, Ml.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), one of Jeff's favorite charities
