Jean Janice Janowski 83, of Athelstane passed away at home with her family by her side on April 7, 2026. She was born to the late Harry and Anita Kinjerski on September 27, 1942 in West Kewaunee. She married Theodore Janowski Jr “Jeep”. on November 8, 1958. Jean worked for Bellin Home Health and New Care in Crivitz for over 36 years until she retired. She enjoyed gardening and bowling. She loved deer hunting, most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Crivitz with the CWC. Jean was also a member of Silver Cliff Woman’s Auxiliary Post 66.
She is survived by her loving husband Theodore “Jeep” of 67 years. Four children Randy Janowski, Ronald Janowski, Debra (Neal) Neumann and Patrick (Laurie) Janowski. 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. One sister Joanne Hegnet and one brother Paul (Vonnie) Kinjerski. Two sister in laws, Gail and Rosalie Kinjerski. Special friend Lisa Hansen.
She was preceded in death by her infant son Steven Janowski. Four brothers Ed, Bob, Carl and Norbert Kinjerski and many brother and sister in laws.
The family would like to thank Moments Hospice, staff members from HSHS Home Health Services, Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home Crivitz, neighbors and friends for their care and support.
The family greeted relatives and friends at St. Marys Catholic Church in Crivitz on Tuesday April 14th from 9- 11AM. The service was at 11AM with Father David Schmidt officiating. Jean was laid to rest at the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Crivitz.
