China continues to be the number one adversary facing our country and I’m thankful for all of Congressman Mike Gallagher’s work to highlight the economic and defense threat China poses to the U.S. 

Gallagher, who chairs the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party has done more than anyone in Washington to highlight the full-on tech and economic confrontation China is currently involved in with the U.S. Whether it is massive CCP backed hacking efforts against our private and government sector, spy ballons or the recent news of spy gear placed by China in the cranes used at U.S. ports, China has made no secret of their desire to overtake the U.S., by any means necessary, as the world’s number one superpower. They’ve also made it very clear that technology innovation and the tech market will be their battlefield.

While Gallagher, unfortunately, has announced his retirement from Congress, I’m hopeful he will continue his efforts to expose China through the end of his term and that other members of Congress will step up and fill the huge shoes Gallagher will leave behind.
