Eagle Scout project brings new information kiosk to Peshtigo Lions Club Recreation Area

PESHTIGO – A commitment to service and the community recently came together at the Peshtigo Lions Club Recreation Area as Tennious Paquette completed his Boy Scout Eagle Scout project.

For his Eagle Scout project, Paquette built a kiosk that will be used by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to display information for visitors to the Peshtigo Lions Club Recreation Area. The new kiosk will provide a convenient location for sharing information and resources with those who enjoy the recreation area.

Completing an Eagle Scout project requires planning, leadership, organization and a commitment to serving others. Paquette’s project is a lasting contribution that will benefit visitors to the recreation area for years to come.

The project also provided an opportunity for local Lions to demonstrate their commitment to supporting young people and community service. Six members of the Peshtigo Lions Club were on hand to help Paquette place and install the kiosk at the recreation area.

The collaboration between Paquette and the Peshtigo Lions is a great example of how community members of different generations can work together to make a positive difference. Paquette provided the leadership and effort behind his Eagle Scout project, while the Lions helped turn his completed project into a useful addition to the recreation area.

The Peshtigo Lions Club is proud to have been part of Paquette’s path toward Eagle Scout and to support a project that will serve the broader community.

Paquette’s project is a reminder that service comes in many forms. Whether through Scouting, Lions Clubs or individual acts of volunteerism, people working together can create improvements that benefit an entire community.

Congratulations are extended to Paquette on completing his Eagle Scout project, and thanks are given to the Peshtigo Lions Club members who volunteered their time to help place the new DNR information kiosk at the Peshtigo Lions Club Recreation Area. It is a fine example of the spirit of service that strengthens a community.
