From Chicago, to Milwaukee (with new wife Diane), Waukesha, and Crivitz. While in Waukesha, Donald became a Glazier for a stained glass studio and traveled throughout the U.S. He made and installed windows in the tallest stained glass steeple in Florida, and the world's largest window in a mausoleum in Illinois. In service to others, Donald volunteered as a driver and EMT for Crivitz Rescue Squad, Marinette County Sheriff's Auxiliary, Marinette County Crime Stoppers, American Red Cross, belonged to the Knights of Columbus, and most recently St Vincent De Paul. He was a long time member of St Mary's Catholic Church and created and installed the windows in the main entryway. Throughout his adult life, he loved entertaining family and friends. He was well known for his grilling skills and always having a liquid refreshment at the ready.
He is survived by his 6 children, Susan (Craig), Shari (Charlie), Becky (Jamie), Faye (Pat), Jay (Dodi) and Jon (Lisa). Also 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Kotecki and the early passing of his first son, Anthony Michael.
