Delores Seefeldt

Delores Elizabeth Seefeldt (Obey) of Sheboygan, formerly of Coleman passed peacefully on April 28, 2026 at Countryside Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care, Sheboygan, WI. Delores was born on October 1, 1931 to Charles and Gertrude (Bruette) Obey at St. Vincent Hospital, Milwaukee, WI. She was baptized November 14, 1931 at St. Vincent Infant Chapel and later in life confirmed in her faith at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Grover, WI. At two years of age, Delores’ mother passed and she and her siblings were raised by their aunt and uncle, Esther and Raymond Everard who lived in Menominee, MI. Delores graduated from Menominee High with the class of 1950 where she was active in drama, school newspaper, cheerleading, forensics and home economics. Delores met her husband, Lester at Equity Dance Hall and they married on April 28, 1951 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Grover, WI. Their marriage was blessed with four beautiful little girls who they raised in Coleman. After her daughters were in school, she worked for three years as a Teachers Aid/Study Hall Monitor at Coleman High School. She then accepted a job at Patz Sales, Pound as a secretary in the Engineering Department and retired after 24 years of employment. In 2013, Delores and Lester moved to Sheboygan, WI to be near family.

Delores is survived by her four daughters: Debra Fale, Sheboygan, WI; Teresa “Teri” DeLisi, Galveston, TX; Glenda Bondy, Webster, NY; and Carla (David) Sullins, Boulder City, NV. Also, her 10 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren

Delores is further survived by her sister-in-law, Romaine Seefeldt; brother-in-law, Arvid (Marlene) Seefeldt; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Delores was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Lester; her parents, Charles and Gertrude Obey; in-laws, Edward and Olga Seefeldt; brother, Richard Obey and sister-in-law, Betty; sister, Patricia and brother-in-law Kenneth Gustafson; sister, Geraldine LeRoy; brother-in-law, Russell Seefeldt; brother-in-law, Kenneth and sister-in-law, Donna Seefeldt; dear friend, Carol Seefeldt; and great granddaughter, Carissa Brandall Gould.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Countryside Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and precious caregiver, Lisa Binversie, Sheboygan, WI.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 221 N. Louis Ave., Coleman, WI, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Matthew Langebartels to officiate. Lunch will be served at the church immediately following the service. Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Grover following the luncheon.
