MENOMINEE, Mich. — Fresh off a perfect 14-0 season and a Division 7 state championship, the Menominee Maroons football team enters the upcoming campaign with a target on its back and a new identity to forge.

The Maroons dominated the West-PAC Copper Conference last season with an undefeated 7-0 league record, outscoring conference opponents 282-67 and finishing with a 539-137 overall point differential. The historic run by “Team 132”—driven by the team mantra “all in”—culminated on Nov. 30, 2025, with a 34-6 victory over Schoolcraft at Ford Field in Detroit.

Along the way, Menominee proved its mettle in every phase, highlighted by early-season statements like a 61-6 blowout of Gladstone at Walton Blesch Field. That championship run was anchored up front by a physical offensive and defensive line led by returning “bigs” such as Henry Dobbins and Kahne Clarke.

With Team 132 in the history books, head coach Chad Brandt and “Team 133” are focused on making their own mark while defending their place at the top.
