David Lee Nelson, 68, of Peshtigo, passed away on December 9, 2025. He was born on June 28, 1957 to the late Robert and Lorraine (Baribeau) Nelson in Menominee, MI. He graduated from Marinette High School Class of 1975. David retired from Kimberly Clark Corp. after working 40+ years mostly in the maintenance Department.
David enjoyed building and fixing things. One of his greatest accomplishments was building his own home. He also enjoyed driving his dream car, a 2010 Dodge Challenger. He said his first car was a 1971 Challenger and his last car would be a Challenger. David enjoyed working around the house, and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. He will be remembered as always being there to help his family and friends.
He leaves behind his ex-wife and friend; Barb, his son; Daniel and granddaughter; Kenleigh, brother; Wayne (Vanessa), sister; Donna (Mark), several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Nancy and Linda.
Per David’s wishes, no services will be held.
