DAR Boys & Girls Club partners with local businesses for Blue Door Gala

MARINETTE – The DAR Boys & Girls Club will host its annual “Evening of Changing Lives” Blue Door Gala on Thursday, April 9, at the Little River Country Club.

The fundraising event, presented by KK Integrated Logistics, begins at 6 p.m. and features food and beverage tastings, a live auction, raffles and local entertainment. All proceeds from the gala will benefit the DAR Boys & Girls Club’s community programming, which includes STEM, arts and crafts, sports and mentoring services.

Attendees can sample offerings from a wide array of local vendors. Joining the lineup this year are Los Magueyes, Tasty Traveler, Beaver Saloon, Jack’s Fresh Market Wine and Spirits, Jean’s Bakery, La Cabana, Little Nugget, Pit Bros. Barbecue and The Wooden Spoon, among others.

The event is supported by a significant roster of community partners.
Associated Bank serves as the platinum sponsor. The gold sponsor level features Caterpillar Fluid Transfer Solutions, Danielson Insurance Agency, Friends of the Club, Precision IceBlast Corporation and Stephenson National Bank & Trust.

Silver sponsors include Farmers & Merchants Bank & Trust, Gold Resource Corporation, M&M Community Foundation and Samuel Pressure Vessel Group. The bronze sponsors are Cegelski & Cegelski S.C., First National Bank & Trust and Integra First Federal Credit Union.

Tickets are $50 per person and are available at the DAR Boys & Girls Club and Jack’s Fresh Market locations in Roosevelt and Menominee, Mich. Guests must be at least 21 years old to attend.
