Crivitz American Legion Post Labor Day Poultry Shoot

CRIVITZ – Crivitz American Legion Post #413 will sponsor its annual Labor Day Poultry and .22 Shoot on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Lake Noquebay Sportsman’s Club.  For those who want to compete in the .22 shoot, bring a single-shot, open sights .22 or borrow one from the club.  Ammunition will be provided or competitors can bring personal ammunition. The club is located east of the Village of Middle Inlet, one-half mile south of County Hwy X at N9200 Maple Beach Rd.   The event will run from noon-4 p.m. and is open to the public.  Food, including fresh corn-on-the-cob and beverages will be available for purchase and 50/50 raffles will be held throughout the event.  Prizes for the winners of each match include hams, turkeys, chickens and bacon.  The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 1. The Legion will also be selling US made American flags.  Sizes are 3’x5’, 4’x6’ and 5’x8’.  Prices are $25, $35 and $45 respectively.  They will also properly dispose of the old flag.
