Clint J. Wenzel, 66, of Lena, passed away early Friday morning, February 27, 2026. He was born on February 22, 1960 in Chilton to James and Sylvia Wenzel.
After graduating from Lena High in 1978, Clint enlisted in the Navy. Stationed on board the USS Iwo Jima, he sailed the Caribbean North Atantic and Mediterranean. Upon being honorably discharged, he returned home and met Dana Spychalski and they were married on April 16, 1988. A truck driver a majority of his life, he spent many miles behind the wheel. When not on the road, Clint enjoyed hunting, fishing, model trains and
constructing model ships. But he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family.
Clint is survived by children; Jessica (Al Grosnick), Jordan (Olivia Rice), Heide (Rich Sywensky), John and Megan (Austin Ryczek), and granddaughter; Aliyah Leonard. He is also survived by mother; Sylvia Rose, sisters; Jacky (Curt Stoll), Susan and Jennifer (Mike Becker), and brothers; Mike and Scott Wenzel, as well as father-in-law; John Spychalski, and sisters-in-law; Sarah Spychalski and Amy McGrath.
Clint was preceded in death by his wife, Dana, father; James Wenzel, grandparents; Max and Loretta Kaminski, and Henry and Froni Wenzel, sister-in-law; Denise Wenzel, mother- in-law; Eleanor Spychalski, and many aunts and uncles.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Calvary Lutheran in Abrams. Visitation will be held 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Matt Stuebs officiating.
