Charles Raymond Walden, Jr., 69, of Stephenson, Mich. passed away on July 23, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area.
Born on July 26, 1956, in Brunswick, Georgia, Charles grew up in the South before beginning a career as an electrical contractor. His work took him to many places over the years, allowing him to build lasting friendships wherever he went. He was known for his generous spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Charles loved spending time outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, or simply enjoying nature. He also had a deep love for animals and believed every pet deserved a home, always choosing to adopt.
A proud member and supporter of Narcotics Anonymous, Charles cherished the friendships and encouragement he found through the organization. His journey allowed him to be a source of hope and support for others.
Charles is survived by his son, Channing; and daughter, Rachel; along with his special friends, Dan and Deb Johnston.
Visitation will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Friday, July 31, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. A time of remembrance will be held at 6:00 p.m.
