Betty (Elizabeth) Englund, 83, of Menominee, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marion Beaudo; her brothers, Charles “Chucky” Beaudo and Michael “Mike” Beaudo; and her infant children, Kevin and Marty Englund.
Betty is survived by her children: Sandra (Robert “Bob” Bayerl), Karen (Dan Babl), and Deb (Craig Olson). She is also survived by her brothers, Clarence “Chum” Beaudo and Edward (Sue) Beaudo; Kathy, the wife of her late brother Michael; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, her great friend, Judy Ney, her neighbors on 16th Avenue, who meant a lot to her, and her grand fur babies, Emma and Buster.
She is further survived by her former husband and childhood friend, Durand Englund, and his wife, Beverly.
Betty never wanted to be a burden to anyone. She was independent, strong-willed, and known for her quick wit—sometimes catching you off guard—and her ability to make people laugh when you least expected it.
She will be deeply missed, but we know this isn’t goodbye forever. As she would say, “we’ll meet again—and I don’t mean maybe.”
Until then, we’ll do our best to laugh a little more and enjoy life the way she would’ve wanted
