BERNADETTE MARIE JOHNSON, 77 of Marinette, WI passed away on Saturday February 14, 2026 at Sun Valley Homes II in Marinette, WI. She was a beloved daughter of Stanley and Agnes (Beaudoin) Skrzypinski and a devoted sister to Robert (Ruth) Skrzypinski, Wanda (Bob) Maloney, Jim (Lois) Skrzypinski, Tony Skrzypinski, Jerry and Denise Skrzypinski, Cheryl (Frank Santilla) Skrzypinski. Bernie worked at Marinette Medical Clinic beginning at 18 years old until her time of retirement. She was also apart of the Emergency Rescue Squad for many years. Bernie enjoyed hunting, line dancing, baking, and cooking. She loved to have fun.
Bernie will be remembered for her kindness, strength, sense of humor, generosity, and the love she shared with family and friends. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughter: Kris (Tom) Binder; 8 nieces and nephews: Robert, Brian, Laura, Amy, Lisa, Jacob, Danny, and Desirea; and 5 grandnieces: Ali, Leah, Teyha, and Zoe; and a special friend: Carol Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant sister Mary.
A celebration of life for Bernie will be held in the springtime. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emergency Rescue Squad in her memory. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the Johnson family with arrangements.
