Benjamin Thomas Jacobs age 40 of Porterfield, passed away on Feb. 20, 2026. He was born to Thomas and Leslyn Jacobs on September 9, 1985. He graduated from Peshtigo High School and joined the Army in The Engineering Brigade and 82nd Airborne from 2004 -2006. Ben worked in the paper industry for over 20 years and enjoyed working as part of the family of Kimberly Clark. He was a volunteer fire fighter for over 19 years. Ben loved being at and taking care of his family cabin and forest lands. He was an avid outdoors man and he loved touring the countryside.
He was an active member of Grover Porterfield Volunteer Fire Department and he enjoyed attending McAlister Community Lutheran Church, Ben had a very strong faith in Jesus especially the last few years.
He is survived by his loving parents Thomas and Leslyn Jacobs, sister Leigh (Mike) Pichette, nieces Verity and Leila Pichette. Aunt Sue (Craig Davidson) Hamilton and uncle Michael (Sandra) Jacobs, aunt Danna (Alan) Campbell and uncle Douglas Powers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Donn and Lorraine Jacobs and Dean and Ione Jevens and Aunt Lynette Powers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Faith Presbyterian Church in Crivitz on Saturday Feb 28th from 9-11AM. The service will be at 11AM with Pastor Paul Hueter and Pastor David Pleuss officiating.
