February 8

• At 1:20 a.m., a deputy responded to a single-vehicle crash on CR 551 in Harris Township after 43-year-old Angela Groleau of Bark River swerved to avoid a deer, struck a snowbank and hit several trees in a ditch; the vehicle was towed, and no injuries were reported.
• At 9:33 p.m., an 18-year-old Gwinn woman was arrested for driving without a license following a single-vehicle crash on CR 577 in Faithorn Township, where she swerved for a deer and struck trees; no injuries were reported, though the vehicle required towing.

February 9

• A deputy responded to a threats complaint on Sobieski Rd. in Menominee Township at 5:10 p.m. involving a woman being harassed via messages; the caller requested documentation, but no contact with the subject.
• At 6:49 p.m., deputies investigated a family dispute on Pine Ave. in Spalding Township, where a caller alleged her father violated his probation; the findings were forwarded to a probation officer.

February 10

• A 27-year-old Menominee woman was arrested for domestic assault and lodged at the county jail following a report of a domestic dispute in progress at 1:34 a.m.
• At 1:43 p.m., a deputy spoke with a caller regarding a past assault in the city of Menominee, where a male subject allegedly tried to hit the caller’s head against a table; the case was sent to the prosecutor for review.

February 11

• Christopher Wilson, 29, of Escanaba, was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash on M-69 in Harris Township at 6:19 p.m. after swerving to avoid a deer; no injuries were reported, but the vehicle was towed.

• At 7:19 p.m., a deputy transported a stray dog to an animal shelter after it was found at large on CR 356 in Holmes Township.

February 16

• Litzy Torres, 25, of Ingalls, was cited for failure to stop and identify after her vehicle, which lacked brake lights, was rear-ended by 31-year-old Crystal Tessmer of Marinette on U.S. 41 in Mellen Township at 4:49 p.m.

February 17

• At 4:02 p.m., a 39-year-old Escanaba man was arrested on a warrant for two counts of probation violation related to an original larceny charge and was lodged in the county jail.

February 18

• Daylon Brisco, 26, of Menominee, lost control of his vehicle on slush and ice on U.S. 41 in Nadeau Township at 5:34 a.m., resulting in minor damage and no injuries.
• At 6:48 a.m., David Steeno, 31, of Gillett, Wis., collided with 45-year-old Beth Belcher of Wells on U.S. 41 in Daggett Township after Steeno’s vehicle caught in slush while passing a stopped car and entered the oncoming lane.

• At 7:15 p.m., a 40-year-old male was arrested on a bench warrant and for third-degree retail fraud on 13th St.

• A 39-year-old male was arrested at 11:19 a.m. at 12th Ave. and 8th St. on a bench warrant and for possession of methamphetamine, driving with a revoked license and unlawful use of a license plate.
• Officers towed an illegally parked U-Haul vehicle at 46th Ave. and 5th St. at 1:38 p.m.
• At 2:58 p.m., a 32-year-old male was arrested on three misdemeanor warrants on 10th St.
• A 22-year-old male was cited for obstructing traffic with an illegally parked vehicle at 14th Ave. and 13th St. at 10:03 p.m.

• At 1:19 a.m., a 37-year-old male was arrested for assault on 17th Ave.
• Officers towed an abandoned boat and trailer from 58th Ave. and Bay De Noc Dr. at 3:32 p.m.

• At 3:53 p.m., a lost wedding ring set was reported on 10th Ave.
• A 42-year-old male was arrested for first-degree home invasion on 10th Ave. at 4:43 p.m.

• At 9:38 a.m., an abandoned vehicle was towed from 27th Ave. and 14th St.
• A 36-year-old male was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant at 2nd St. and 10th Ave. at 10:42 a.m.
